Our Lady of Africa S.S. Namilyango proudly hosted a Replica of the African Union Summit, providing students with a unique platform to engage in leadership, diplomacy, and discussions on issues affecting the African continent. The event encouraged participants to think critically, collaborate, and propose innovative solutions for Africa’s future.
The summit was graced by our Guest of Honour, Miss Pamela Liz Watawa, the Assistant Commissioner for the National Secretariat for Patriotism Corps at State House. In her inspiring address, she encouraged students to embrace patriotism, integrity, responsible leadership, and active citizenship as they prepare to become the next generation of African leaders.
The event showcased our students’ confidence, public speaking skills, and commitment to shaping a better Africa. We extend our sincere appreciation to Miss Pamela Liz Watawa for honouring our invitation and inspiring our learners, as well as to all the students, teachers, and organizers whose efforts made the summit a resounding success. Together, we continue to nurture leaders who will make a positive impact in Uganda and across the African continent.
