Extra-Curricular Activities

Our Lady of Africa S.S Namilyango  recognizes the importance of an all-round education. All students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular or “extra-curricular” activities.

These include but are not limited to:

• Sports (Soccer for both Girls and Boys,  Athletics,  Badminton, Chess, etc)
• Clubs/House activities
• National and Regional  Debates
• Student Council

School events include: Inter-house MDD competitions, Sports Days, Guidance and Counseling,Patriotism and Summits.

Sports Activities

The School participates in the following sports activities: District Sports Competition: in football, woodball, basketball, Chess, Volleyball, Swimming, Athletics and girls’ football

Clubs and Societies

The school promotes clubs and societies to improve the students’ interpersonal skills such as: negotiation, perseverance, communication and respect for cultural diversity. The clubs include:MDD, Chess, Redcross society, Legion of Mary, Davinci, ICT and Innovation, Mathematics, Sacred Heart of Jesus, Wildlife, Debate, Patriotism, Educate, Writters and Interact.
